Indonesia’s largest creative market event, Comic Frontier 23 (or what we affectionately call Comifuro 23), is ready to return to greet fans at the end of October this year.
Without holding back, this 23rd edition will take over a massive area, namely 6 halls at once (Hall 6 to Hall 10) at ICE BSD. Imagine how satisfied you will be walking around looking for your favorite unique works for two full days!
Halloween Moment and Unique Chibi Touch from THEALAGATOR
There is something special about this Comifuro event. As it turns out, Comifuro 23 is held right on the Halloween celebration moment, which is from October 31 to November 1, 2026.
Highlighting a fun and slightly mysterious Halloween atmosphere, Comifuro is releasing a main visual (key visual) with a special concept. The official illustration was done directly by a talented illustrator from Indonesia with the pen name THEALAGATOR. Featuring a distinctive chibi style that is adorable and comical, THEALAGATOR’s visual serves as the new “face” of this 23rd event.
For those of you who love collecting event souvenirs, this Halloween-themed visual is also packaged into various exclusive merchandise that you can only get officially at the Comifuro 23 venue!
A Haven for Independent Works: From Comics, Games, Music, to VTubers!
Since it first rolled out over 14 years ago, Comic Frontier has always been consistent in being a home and space for expression for doujin creators—a Japanese term for creators who make works independently, united by their shared love for a fandom.

Looking Back at 14 Years of Comic Frontier’s Journey
Looking back, Comic Frontier’s journey is truly inspiring. When it was first held back in 2012, Comifuro “only” accommodated 35 creative circles.
However, along with the rapid growth of the creative industry in the country, Comifuro has grown into a massive movement capable of gathering thousands of creators under one roof. The hope remains the same as always: to provide a new space for freedom of expression in the creative industry without societal stigma, while becoming a driving force for Indonesia’s creative industry—for independent creators, communities, and professionals alike.

Can’t wait to go hunting for doujin and cosplay? Comic Frontier 23 tickets are officially on sale online through the Ticket2U platform. Here are the price details:

1-Day Entry Ticket (Regular Pass): Rp75,000 (tax included, platform fee not included).

Bundle Ticket (Merchandise Bundling): Rp130,000 (tax included, platform fee not included). This package already includes a 1-day entry ticket and an exclusive Comifuro 23 merchandise package consisting of an A3 size poster and a Tote Bag.
Important Tip: Make sure to enter a correct and active email address during the ticket purchase process on Ticket2U. The ticket redemption code will be provided on October 30, 2026. Physical ticket exchange can be done directly at the ICE BSD event area on October 31 and November 1, 2026.
